Mikrotik-Linux: Preview

Mikrotik-Linux is a special version of Mikrotik that contains extra packages for popular linux applications.

Packages

  • basic - Busybox, a base system
  • bind - DNS Server
  • dropbear - SSH Server & Linux shell
  • linux-routing - Quagga, OLSR, Batman routing daemons
  • network-tools - Various network utilities like whois, tracepath, WOL facility
  • squid - Squid Proxy

Notices

  • linux packages may be extracted from uploaded iso and be installed via ftp as usual
  • after dropbear installation, set root password via command: / linux dropbear password
  • dropbear accepts connections on tcp port 2222
  • any installed package, may be uninstalled as usual
  • these all extra packages DO NOT affect any mikrotik files
